ActLumus

New Actigraph with Offwrist Sensors, Bluetooth, Melanopic EDI and Photopic Lux
ActLumus, the latest version of Condor Instruments’ actigraphs, redefines precision in activity, light, and temperature monitoring. With an additional skin-contact (off-wrist) sensor and a revolutionary light sensor, ActLumus delivers complete data insights. Discover the future of actigraphy technology with ActLumus.
ActLumus measures light exposure with true spectral precision.
Unlike single-channel sensors, which only capture approximate brightness, ActLumus uses a multi-channel sensor capable of reporting melanopic EDI in accordance with the CIE S 026:2018 standard — the international standard for quantifying light’s effect on the circadian system. This includes:
- Wide detection range: from low indoor lighting to direct sunlight: de baixa luminosidade interna até luz solar direta
- Melanopic EDI, photopic illuminance and 10 spectral channels measured simultaneously medidos simultaneamente
- Off-wrist sensor, which detects when the device is not being worn — preventing rest data from being misread as sleep
Researchers in chronobiology and light dosimetry often need alpha-opic irradiance or photoreceptor-specific estimated signal — data that simple photopic sensors cannot provide, since they require full spectral information.

The human body has several fascinating systems, including the circadian rhythm. This is a 24-hour internal clock that controls the sleep-wake cycle and is influenced by light. Without light, the circadian rhythm can get disrupted, leading to brain fog, sluggishness, and sleeplessness.
If you’re struggling to get sufficient sleep because of jet lag or other mental health concerns, our Melaponic light sensors at Condor Instruments can help.
Our highly innovative and state-of-the-art Melanopic light sensors are engineered to measure light, activity, and temperature. These sensors can be easily worn on the wrist and ensure you get the proper amount of light to synchronize your internal body clock.
The Melanopic light sensors have built-in IR and RGB light sensors and can effectively measure photopic and Melanopic measurements.
With our Melanopic light sensors, you will never have to worry about having an unsynchronized body clock ever again. They will help you make the most out of your sleep treatments and get quick results.
Whether you have insomnia, a circadian rhythm sleep-wake disorder, or any other sleep issues, our devices can help.
So, what are you waiting for? Head over to our online store right now and get our Melanopic EDI sensors and Melanopic light loggers.
